Then we have the " Unstoppable Forces" within those organisations, this seemingly endless drive for "growth". Not that this is necessarily a bad thing when we reflect on the volatility of economies and marketplaces today. Riddled with process, structure and corporate-hierarchy these organisations become "frameworks for success" as they stand towering among us boasting their establishments as "Immovable", and often selling the basis of such rigid foundations as security and trust. Thinking of some of the large established brands out there, the "heavy-weights" or perhaps even the " Immovable Objects" within our markets. I have noted similar situations around me recently that got me thinking of this eventual self-destruction. It got me thinking can there be such a thing as an Immovable Object, if there is an Unstoppable Force or vice-versa? Simply put if the two were to meet, would they not just destroy themselves? However when he was asked what would happen if his spear was to strike his shield, he could not answer. In China around 3rd century BC apparently, it was written that a man who was trying to sell a spear and a shield claimed that: the spear could pierce any shield, and the shield could defend from all spear attacks.
